We're the complete guide to civilian space exploration — from stargazing tonight to tomorrow's spaceflights. Our guides cover three areas:

We don't try to out-scoop the breaking-news wires. We own the consumer, experiential angle: what it costs, how close we really are, and what it feels like, written with facts, optimism, and a little imagination.

Our Mission

Space travel is no longer a government monopoly. It's becoming a consumer category — slowly, then all at once. Our mission is to be the definitive home for that transition: the place people come to understand what space tourism is, what it costs, what it feels like, and how to start exploring space from their own backyard tonight.

The Domain Portfolio

Alongside the publication, we hold a small portfolio of premium space-travel domain names, including MarsGlamping.com, InterstellarTrip.com, and TourTheGalaxy.com; the full list is here. They're category-defining names for the era we cover, but the brand and audience come first. The domains are simply assets we hold.

About the Editor

OuterSpaceTrip.com is founded and edited by Rob Crotzer, who writes and maintains the site's operator cost guides and the Space Tourism Price Index. Rob tracks pricing and flight-status announcements from every major operator (Blue Origin, Virgin Galactic, SpaceX, Axiom Space, Space Adventures, and Space Perspective) and translates them into plain-English guides for prospective space travelers.

How we keep the numbers honest: every price and operating status on the site is tied to a published source and a verification date, and the price index is re-checked on a regular schedule so the figures reflect the current market rather than a one-time snapshot. When an operator pauses flights, changes a fare, or resumes service, the relevant guides are updated and the change is dated and sourced. The full method is laid out in how we pick and source.
